Web Design Templates are great and they are not difficult to use. They increase your speed of delivery when designing a website and through alterations; the site will still be customized. To learn how to use web design templates, download a free design layout from www.layoutbank.com .
Once you have selected an attractive web layout, you can alter it in order to provide a customized web site design for your client. You will need you’re client’s logo, some very good business photographs and the company details. If your client has requested to use their corporate colors, keep that in mind.
To begin designing the homepage, you will open the selected layout in Photoshop. The layout consists of a basic design/layout, a logo, a company tagline or slogan, images and buttons which link to other pages. To begin changing these aspects you will open the Layers Palette (F7). Each displayed item is contained in the Layers Palette. Select the background layer, fill in the required flat color by selecting the background layer, then clicking on the foreground color palette in the tools. This will open the color palette where you can select the color through the bar or by inputting values in the RGB or CMYK field. (RGB stands for red, green and blue while CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and black. You can also change colors by assigning a Hexadecimal value or hash value. After selecting the desired color, you can fill desired areas with that color using the Paint Bucket Tool by left clicking the background layer. Another way to fill the background is to select edit/menu/fill.
